The federal government is currently conducting the census that will determine how many representatives will be allotted in each state. In 2021 legislators will again determine the components of each legislative district. The current structure of the 85th is fractured, at best. The northern townships in Union County are not part of the 85th and Shamokin Dam, Hummels Wharf, and Monroe, and Chapman Townships are also not part of the 85th. Doesn’t it make sense to include contiguous boroughs and townships that have common interests in the same legislative district? I would support a non-partisan citizen group having the responsibility of creating legislative districts that are fair and equitable.

  1. End Gerrymandering
  2. Establish non-partisan citizen committee

Environment

  1. Tax gas extraction
  2. Support renewable energy projects
